What size sheets can I use with my SOMNIA+?
The SOMNIA+ is custom-sized, so the SOMNIA+ sheets that come in the Bed Expander Kit work best! You can also use Full-XL sheets, which would be a looser fit.
What size duvet can I use with my SOMNIA+?
The SOMNIA+ is a custom-sized bed, so the SOMNIA+ duvet works best! You can also use a Full-XL duvet, which would be a larger fit, or a Twin-XL duvet, which would be a smaller fit.
How thick should a mattress topper be for dorm beds?
Our 2” memory foam topper offers a great balance of comfort and support, just enough to feel cushy without making you feel like you’re sinking into quicksand. We’ve found it’s the sweet spot for dorm beds!

Is there a weight limit on the Dorm Bed Expander Kit?
The kit is designed to work in conjunction with the school-provided metal spring unit, which typically supports up to 1,000lbs. Our expander itself is plus-size friendly, and because the kit integrates with the existing dorm bed frame, there's no risk of falling through the middle!
Can I use the Bed Expander Kit on a lofted bed?
Yes, the kit can be used on a bed raised up to 36in!
Will the SOMNIA+ work with bed rails?
No, the kit can not be used in conjunction with bed rails.

I’m flying to my university, how do I get my SOMNIA+ kit there?
If you're flying to school, we recommend shipping your kit directly to campus. Most universities offer a move-in package service, allowing students to send items over the summer for pickup upon arrival!
